WHAT WE DO & HOW

Orphans and Old Welfare

The primary goal of this initiative is to ensure the well-being of orphaned children by meeting their fundamental needs and providing them with quality education. We firmly believe that education is the key to a brighter future, and we aim to help each child build a promising future independently through this program. We are committed to taking proactive steps to support orphans and their education at any stage. Requests from orphanages will be verified through reliable sources, and if found genuine, we will offer the necessary support.

We also support abandoned old age people for medical and survival aspects.

Education

Support will be provided to:

  • Orphaned students or those supported by guardians.
  • Students from families with physical disabilities who lack a sufficient income for food and education, or whose income only supports one child but requires assistance to continue the education of a second child.
  • Students from single-parent families, especially single mothers, whose income does not cover basic needs for food and education, and who need help to continue the education of a second child.
  • Students from daily wage or migrant worker families, whose income does not meet basic needs for food and education, and who require assistance to continue the education of a second child.
  • Other deserving cases as appropriate.

Criteria for Evaluation:

  • Academic performance of the student
  • Interest of the student and/or parents in education
  • Family income and expenditures
  • Assets (such as house, land, etc.)

Types of Support:

Support will be provided on a case-by-case basis depending on the request and evaluation outcome. Examples include:

  • Enrolling a dropout student (interested but previously unable to continue due to financial reasons) into a school or college.
  • Assisting merit students in pursuing better career opportunities (must meet the criteria for aid) by covering school or college fees, and providing books, materials, and stationery.

Medical Support

We aim to assist individuals below the poverty line who have exhausted all other options and are in urgent need of help to save lives. We also support physically disabled families, single-parent families, and abandoned elderly individuals on a case-by-case basis. The extent of support will be determined based on the evaluation outcome.

Survival

This support is designed to aid abandoned elderly individuals, physically disabled families, single-parent families, and daily wage workers who lack assets and depend solely on government pensions or insufficient income to meet their basic food needs. This support may include grocery kits or other essential items, with the extent of assistance varying by individual case.

Other Activities

  • Distributing food, groceries, and clothes to those living on the streets and other needy individuals.
  • Providing blankets in winter to those living on the streets and other needy individuals.
  • Organizing blood donations and medical camps as appropriate.
  • Engaging in other relevant social work activities.

Our Approach

Requests for assistance will be screened and verified through reliable sources. If an applicant is deemed eligible for financial help and it is necessary, final verification will be conducted directly by us. Applicants are advised not to inform the needy individuals about the request until the selection, verification, and approval process is complete, as disappointment may occur if the criteria are not met. We maintain strict screening procedures to ensure responsible management of contributions to this noble cause.
